A route detail page consists on one hand of a map section displaying the trajectory of the route and any linked points of interest. In addition, the RouteViewer includes an informative section with content and practical information about your route as well as access to functionality to further work with your route. The map view is on the right of the screen, the informative section on the left.
1/ MAP SECTION
When viewing a route, you are presented with an interactive map rich in information. In addition to the path itself, you will find various icons and features to help you better visualize and explore the route and its surroundings.
Several display options are available for the map. The POIs on a route are interactive: by clicking on a point of interest, the associated details and media will be displayed.
The path itself is represented by a blue-green line with white arrows visualizing the direction of the route. The white dotted lines on top of the green route indicate where the path is unpaved. When you zoom in further, the route line becomes transparent at a certain point, ensuring the information on the underlying map layer remains visible.
The POIs on a route are interactive: clicking on a POI reveals its details and media. The start and end of the route are marked with and . Click on them to see the nearest address.
2/ INFORMATIVE SECTION

With the "Show all" button, you can also open the full list. The points of interest in the list appear in the order you encounter them along the route.
If you’re the author of the route, you can choose here to detach certain points of interest (POIs) from the route. Click a POI to open its pop-up window. Then, via the edit button, click the unlink icon .
Remove a point of interest from a route
Here you can rate the route and leave a comment for the author and/or other users. It can be a compliment, a remark, or a question about the route. Below the comment form, you’ll find a summary of the comments that have already been posted. Underneath, you can read the feedback from other users about this route.
Post a comment on a route
Here you can see who has already completed the route and when. You can also indicate when you plan to do the route or when you’ve done it, and how long you think it will take or took you.
