With a Multi-user account, you can give team members or co-admins access to a central RouteYou main account. This lets you work together on creating, managing, and publishing routes, points of interest, and account settings.
TIP
Looking for pricing or features of a Multi-user plan? Check out the RouteYou Multi-user product page.
Preparation: Team member account
Before you can give someone admin rights, that person must have their own individual RouteYou account.
Have the team member create an account
Check out 'How to register on RouteYou'.Set a clear profile name and photo
Ask the team member to use an easily recognizable name and photo (for example "John_Tourism" or "John Smith" instead of "John"). This prevents inviting the wrong person.
Step-by-step: Granting admin rights
STEP 1: Log in to the main account
Log in to RouteYou using the account with an active Multi-user option.
STEP 2: Invite the user as a member
From the main account, send an invitation to the personal account of the team member.
IMPORTANT
The invited person must accept the invitation first. You can only assign admin rights once membership is confirmed.
STEP 3: Give the user ADMIN rights
- On the landing page of the main account, go to the Members section.
- Click "View" and open the ADMIN tab.
- Find the invited user in the list and assign ADMIN rights.
The team member now has admin rights and can immediately switch accounts to work on behalf of the main account.
