Notice a mistake, obstacle, or something unclear while following a route? You can easily report it – either on the website or in the RouteYou app.
GOOD TO KNOW
Reporting an issue in the app is only possible in navigation mode.

Once navigation is running, you’ll see a report issue icon on the map. Tap this icon to start the reporting process.
STEP-BY-STEP:
- Tap the report issue icon
on the map.
- Pick the type of issue you want to report.
After your first choice, you’ll always get a second set of options to describe the issue more precisely.
Check out the full list of possible issues here. - Add a description or photo if you want (optional, but useful).
- Tap ‘Report’.
Your report is now submitted.
STEP-BY-STEP:
- Go to the detail page of the route in question.
- Scroll down the left column to the section ‘Reported issues’
- Click ‘Add issue’ under the visual.
A dark green pop-up will appear at the top of the map with the message: "Click on the route to mark the location of the issue." - Click the right spot on the map and confirm.
- Pick the type of issue you want to report.

An issue icon now shows up on the map. Other users can see and click it too to check what’s already been reported.
