Do you manage a Premium account or higher on behalf of your club or organization? Then your members can enjoy an exclusive benefit: a 30% discount on their RouteYou Plus annual subscription. This member discount applies to both initial purchases and renewals!

You can try RouteYou Premium for free for one month, but the member benefit is not available during this trial period. The 30% discount for members only applies once your Premium account is fully active — in other words, after the trial period ends.

What do you need to offer a member discount?

To grant a member discount, two conditions must be met:

  • Your account must be a Premium account (or higher) with the user type ‘club’.
  • Your account must have the member function activated, so that users can actually become members of your club account.

       This is because we need to know who your members are — without that info, we can't activate the benefit.

If your account doesn't meet both conditions, the member discount cannot be applied.

How do you activate these conditions?

1. Activate a professional club account

  • Upgrade to a RouteYou Premium, Pro, or Enterprise account (if you haven't already).
  • Go to 'Personal data' on your profile page.
  • The first option allows you to indicate in what capacity you use your RouteYou account. Choose 'Club'. 
     

2. Activate the member function and recruit members

  • STEP 1: Open your account for membership.
    Activate the member function so other RouteYou users can join your account. 
     
  • STEP 2: Activate membership

       There are two ways to add members:
    • Inviting: you send invitations to your members, which they accept.
    • Receiving requests: users submit a membership request themselves, which you then approve.
       
  • STEP 3: Members enjoy the discount
    As soon as someone is a member of your professional club account, they'll get 30% off a RouteYou Plus annual subscription when upgrading

The discount benefit is a strong asset for your organization. We are happy to help you highlight this to your (future) members.
 

Communication about the discount benefit

As soon as a user's membership to your Club account (Premium or higher) is activated, RouteYou automatically sends an email to this new member. In this message, we explain that they are entitled to a 30% discount on a RouteYou Plus annual subscription and how they can activate it.
 

Highlight it yourself

While we inform your new members automatically, we recommend actively promoting this benefit yourself as well. It's the perfect way to motivate people to join your community on RouteYou and follow your activities.

  • Mention the discount in your newsletter or on your website when you share the invite link.
  • Use it as a 'call-to-action': "Join our account on RouteYou and instantly enjoy a 30% discount on a Plus subscription!"

 

  Frequently Asked Questions

What if my club cancels its RouteYou Premium account? Can I still enjoy the discount?

If you order a RouteYou Plus annual subscription at a time when your club or organization has an active Premium account (or higher), the discount will be granted.
If the membership or the account of your club or organization is canceled afterwards, you will keep the discount for the full duration of your purchased Plus subscription. 
If you buy a Plus subscription after the membership or account of your club or organization has been terminated, you can no longer claim the discount.
