How to spot a fake ad
Cybercriminals sometimes abuse automated ad networks to display fake ads.
- RouteYou is transparent about costs: All RouteYou features are free or included in our clear subscription plans (Plus, Premium, Pro, Enterprise).
- No automatic charges: We can never and will never deduct money from your account unless you knowingly registered and explicitly gave permission.
What should you do?
- Don't click and don't pay: Close the screen immediately if you're in doubt. Always check your browser's address bar to make sure you're still on routeyou.com.

Report it to us: Do you see a suspicious banner or pop-up? Send an email right away to info@routeyou.com with the following information:
- A screenshot of the ad.
- The device you're using (e.g., iPhone, Windows PC, Android).
- Your web browser (e.g., Chrome, Safari).
- Contact your bank: Did you accidentally enter your banking info anyway? Contact your bank immediately to block your card or account.
What is RouteYou doing to stop this?
Although these fake ads come from third-party networks, we work hard every day to protect you from them:
- Immediate blocking: As soon as we receive a report, we trace the network (such as Google AdSense) and block the malicious advertiser right away.
- Stricter partner screening: We only partner with networks that enforce strict quality and identification standards.
- European safety standards: We follow the guidelines of the European Digital Services Act (DSA). This means we maintain a transparent reporting system and act immediately on abuse.
