The cover photo is the face of your content. It’s the image users see first in search results, on route maps, and at the top of the detail page. By marking a photo as the 'cover' yourself, you decide the look and feel of your route or point of interest (POI).
Why set a cover photo?
By default, RouteYou shows the first photo uploaded to a route or POI. By manually selecting a cover photo, you make sure the most relevant or high-quality image is always shown first. This makes your content easier to find and much more appealing.
