At RouteYou, the quality of your route experience is our top priority. An inspiring image helps you choose your next adventure, but we understand that reliability is crucial. Did you come across a community photo or video that is inappropriate, poses a privacy concern, or simply doesn't belong at that location? By reporting content, you help us keep the information on RouteYou relevant, safe, and inspiring for everyone.
How do you report a photo or video?
It is possible to report community photos (images added by users to routes created by others). Reporting is easy and can be done directly from the RouteYou app or website. Your report goes straight to the RouteYou Helpdesk, where our team will follow up on the matter.
STEPS:
- Open the community photo you wish to report.
- Click the 'Report' link (bottom right of the image).
- A window will open where you can select the reason for your report:
- Offensive, hateful, or sexually explicit: For content that is hurtful or inappropriate.
- Legal issue: For example, copyright infringement or illegal activities.
- Privacy concern: If you or someone else is identifiable in the image without permission.
- Poor quality: For very blurry, black, or unclear images.
- Not a photo or video of this place: If the image does not match the location or route.
- Other: For other matters. You can type a brief explanation here.
- Click 'Send'.
What happens after your report?
As soon as you send a report, our helpdesk receives a notification. We review the content against our Content Policy. If the image or video violates our guidelines, it will be removed from the platform. Together, we ensure that RouteYou remains a reliable source of inspiration.
