Want to stay in the loop about new routes and activities from your favorite RouteYou profiles? Just follow their account — that way, you won’t miss a thing. You don’t need a paid account, but you do need to sign up.

Are you part of a club or organization?
Then it’s a great idea to follow their account on RouteYou. That way, you’ll always be up to date with what they’re doing.
You’ll get a notification when they:

plan a new route

like a route
-
add an event
- join an event
-
share their location
Depending on your communication preferences, you’ll get updates via notifications and/or email.

Go to the profile page of the account you want to follow.
TIP: You can get to a profile page by clicking the author’s name on a route detail page, POI page, event page, or news post. -
Click the 'Follow' button
under the profile info.
The button will switch toand the text will change to 'Following'.
Want to unfollow? Just click the button again to stop following.
Got a new follower? We’ll let you know — maybe you’ll want to follow them back.
Want more followers? Invite other RouteYou users to follow your account.
HOW-TO
- Go to your profile page and click the number of followers under your account name.
A 'Followers' pop-up will appear
- Go to the 'Invited' tab and click the 'Invite followers' button
The 'Invite to follow' pop-up will appear.
- Type the (account) name of the user you want to invite.
The system will automatically search for the right match.
- Click 'Invite' next to the right match.
You can also click the (account) name first to check the profile and make sure it’s the right person.
You can also choose to follow that user right away.
