Transferring routes to a GPS

Before you can load the route onto a GPS, you first need to find the GPS file (usually a GPX).

Read more here about downloading a route.

The GPX format can be read by most GPS devices.

Problems uploading a route to your GPS

Some GPS devices may have issues if a route has a title that is too long.
To avoid this, give your route an alternative name or a shorter GPS title.

You can always contact us via the button in the right menu 'Submit a request'. Please include the following in your message:

  • Which device model are you using?
  • Which route (link) are you trying to download?
  • Which operating system (Windows/Mac) are you using?
  • Which web browser (Internet Explorer/Firefox/Chrome/Safari/Opera) are you using?
  • What do you see on the screen? Provide a screenshot if possible.
