Change your email address

Want to change your email address? It's quick and easy! Follow our steps to update your email address and stay up-to-date with RouteYou.

  1. Log in to the account you want to update. 
  2. Open your profile page.
  3. Open your "Personal Information".
  4. In the "Email Address" field, replace your old email address with your new one.
  5. Click "Confirm" at the bottom of the page
  6. To ensure access to your profile and confirm that you own the new email address, an email will be sent to your new address after confirmation. Click 'change my email address' to complete the update.

Changing email address is not working

The most common reason your new email address is not accepted in account (Account A) is because there is already an account (Account B) with that email address. You are trying to create two accounts with the same email address, which is not allowed. 

Here's how to fix it:

  • Go to your account B with that email address
    • Option 1 (our advice): Change the email address in account B. Then go to account A to enter the desired email address.
    • Option 2: Delete your account B. Note! This is not a good idea if you want to keep your routes.

I did not receive a confirmation email

It is possible that your email system marked the confirmation email as 'spam'. Check the "Spam" or "Junk Mail" folder and look for emails from RouteYou.

Another possibility is that you made a typo in your email address, causing the email not to arrive. Go back to your profile and repeat the procedure.
