Change your email address

You can easily change the email address of your Routeyou account. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Log in, if this was not yet the case.
  2. Press on your avatar in the top-right corner and select 'My Profile'.
  3. In the "My Profile" section you will find the option "Personal Information".
  4. At the top, you will see the field "Email Address". Change your old email address to the new one.
  5. CLick "Corfirm" (at the bottom of the page).
  6. Upon modification, an email will be sent to your new email address to confirm that you are indeed the owner of that new email address. This may take a few minutes. Click on the confirmation link in the email to complete the change.

Changing your emailaddress isn't working

The most common reason why your new email address is not accepted by the system in one account (Account A) is because there is already another account (Account B) associated with that email address.  

Here’s how to resolve it:

  • Go to your Account B with that email address.
  • Option 1 (our recommendation): Change the email address in Account B. Then, go back to Account A to enter the desired email address.
  • Option 2: Delete your Account B. Note! This is not a good idea if you still want to keep your routes.

I did not receive an email for confirmation

The email has probably been classified by your email software as SPAM. Check the SPAM folder.
